I started playing the violin at the age of 7, and by 8, I was already performing in public. From those early moments, I knew the violin was my true calling. At 16, I was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, where I studied until I was 20. Since then, I have been playing and performing for over 65 years, continually evolving and exploring new musical realms.
Although my early foundation was in classical music, I found the classical world to be too serious for my tastes. With a passion for jazz and pop music, I sought to create something more dynamic and expressive. This led me to team up with American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Irv Mowrey. Together, we recorded our first album with CBS in Paris, France, followed by a second album two years later. During this time, British TV made a documentary about our musical journey titled Busker, which was filmed by the renowned cinematographer Chris Mengies.
After the birth of my first son, I took a break from music. When I returned, I decided to follow a more instrumental path, partnering with classically trained guitarist Jeffrey Edge. Together, we co-composed music that blended classical influences with jazz and pop elements. This partnership led to the creation of our niche sound, which we dubbed "crossover classical." We recorded two albums: Tears of Joy and Christmas with Watson and Edge.
It was during this period that I began to dance passionately on stage while playing my violin. I even plugged my violin into a large amplifier, creating a more dynamic and energetic performance style. It was also around this time that many of my listeners began sharing their transformative experiences with my music—stories of emotional release and reconnection with joy.
As I continued my journey, I realized my music was not only about performance—it had the power to help others heal. My mission became clear: “Helping others to let go of pain and suffering and reconnect with joyfulness.” This became the foundation of everything I do, as I aim to inspire and uplift my audience through my music.
I later teamed up with Darren Skansen, a talented lead virtuoso guitarist from a heavy metal band who was also highly classically trained. Our collaboration resulted in the album Catharsis Infinity, which became a gold record, selling over half a million copies. This album, along with Tears of Joy (also a gold album), was a testament to the emotional power of our music. After Darren, I partnered with guitarist and composer Colin McAllister, and together, we recorded two more albums: Holographic Projections and AppasiontA. Joined by keyboardist and composer, Joel Plimmer (keyboardist with Tim Weisberg and Dan Fogelberg).
In addition to my music, I became deeply interested in personal and spiritual growth. This led to a solo career where I performed for influential figures such as Dr. Deepak Chopra and Don Miguel Ruiz. I also became a motivational speaker, combining my passionate violin performances with messages of personal empowerment and healing.
I was born in England, and at the age of five, I received my first violin as a gift from my uncle. It took two years to find a teacher willing to take me on, but once I did, I knew this was my destiny. I trained at the Kent Junior Music School, performing solos at age 8 and with symphony orchestras at 10. By 16, I had received a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.
Since then, my journey has taken me around the world, blending New Age, Crossover Classical, Jazz, and light Classical styles. My unique "Joie de Vivre" approach, filled with beauty and passion, has created a niche for me in the music world. My performances, marked by joyful dancing and the raw emotion I bring to each note, continue to resonate with millions of listeners.
I invite you to explore my music, feel the emotions, and experience the healing power that so many others have found through my performances.
